DIGITAL SELF PORTRAITS

I do digital self portraits to record my time here on earth, in different locations.
I love painting on my I pad, because my hands do not get dirty.
My process is totally the same with digital, that it is with oil painting.
The images look different, for the foundation is a photograph,
in 70% of the paintings.
Rarely do I start out with just a color.
I love the freedom, exploration and ease,
in which the composition balances magically.
Therefore, I love digital painting with my whole heart and soul.
Being immersed in the moment, with color, shape, content, stories and composition is what I crave. Love and Art are why I live.
