Dance is visual art that appears in the moment and disappears just as quickly. We can not hold it, grasp at it, contain it. We may try to capture it on camera, but dance is most beautiful live. All I do is paint moment to moment, inside the still white space, we call the stage………usually a rectangular box with colored lights, music, dialogue and moving people; creating visual poetry with their lived bodies.
Following in the footsteps of Isadora Duncan, emulating the soul’s work, Arodasi is the reflection of Isadora’s approach to art. It is actually the word Isadora, written backwards.
